If you care to listen it reminds me of a story. I was stationed at Hill Airforce Base in Utah near salt lake. Well I was sitting in Mcdonalds eating lunch in a depressed state because not 3 days before my wife just left me, and right before christmas. As I sat a family sat down at the table directly across from me 4 boys sat with there father. The youngest Sat down and told his father what he wanted and the rest left ot get the order. The young boy looked at me and quietly asked "Are you and Armyman?" not trying to get into an arguement about airfocre and army, I just said yes. He then Asked "Why are you an Army man?" I tolg him I was trying to keep the bad people out of the country to keep him and everybody else inside its border safe.

At that point his father showe dup with the boys lunch, I was done mine and sat sipping what was left of my soda than the boy cam walking up to my table to mine and the fathers surprise. He said thank you and held out his hand and in it was a small Candy Cane from his happy meal. I just about cried right there and then, and so did the other people watching in the Dinning area. I gave him a hug and said thank you.

That was the first time anybody said thank you to me about that, My 2nd was 2 years later when I was out of the military working for a tiny company doing lightning rods, my only coworker shook my hand on veterains day and said thank you. And the last time was a few mounths ago a chilled day came across so I was wearing my old feild jacket, she asked us about woodships, then Asked if I ever served ounce I said yes she thanked me.

If you see the uniform of a military man or woman grow some balls and take the time to thank them it will make there day.
