CMC SPIDER LIFT MANDATORY REMOVE FROM SERVICE

On their website, CMC shows a production of about 260 units in 2016 and 600 units in 2020. The rapid growth makes me wonder if they added poorly qualified staff to keep up with production. Do we know when the poorly welded/failed lifts were manufactured? If they're newer lifts (with presumably fewer stress cycles, on average), that would be interesting.

My tracked lift has operated fine, easy to use (for one of these), booms move to end of cylinders, no beeping and such. Built like a tank.

That being said, I did put her up on TreeBay, looking at a UP 101. Tracled 101 is a beast, not for residential tree IMO.

UpEq seems real nice as well. I'm just a bit skeptical about a CA purchase, no authorized service dealers down this way.
