I bought a pair of stretch airs last year and they are still in great shape, and oh so comfy. When I got my new Sherrill catalog and saw that they were going up to 250 bucks a pair, I called and asked when the new prices took effect, and I had about 3 hours. I ordered up another pair at the old price to hang onto for when I wear the other ones out.

They look hot - temperature hot, and the hooks and loops sound like you'll be modifying them a bit. Look durable, though. I like those type of pants for woodworking and wiping off glue and other gooey caulk stuff onto.

The swedepros look like little kid snow pants. Actually, just about every pair of chainsaw protective pants available in the US look like little kids snow pants.

Just got the IronClad pants today, got both tan and black.
I love the nylon canvas fabric, it drapes very well, definitely not a stiff fabric. Seems very durable. Doesn't seem to be unreasonably hot.

Sizing was an issue- the two pairs I got were both labeled the same size, but one was over an inch smaller. With the size that fit, it was a 36, I normally wear a 34. You may not realize that most pants are larger than the label claims, so you can feel skinny. The IronClad seems to use true sizing.

I have notified them about the one small pair, we will see what happens.
