Cleaning harness webbing advice

I posted in awakenings about how I experienced a fuel geyser and became the proud wearer of a half tank of gas. Most ended up on my arm and glove. I'm sure some got on my harness as well. So to the point:. I want to wash/rinse my harness. I have the treemotion. I've checked the manual and it just says use mild detergent and hand wash, hang dry. Any advice on detergent? Is dish soap to harsh?

That's the first thing I thought of. If its good enough for baby ducks it's good enough for me.

I would not hesitate to use Dawn. Johnson’s Baby Shampoo is also amazing stuff at degreasing, or at least it used to be, and it’s mild enough you can pour it in your eyes.
