cleaning chain saw pants

Hey, while we are on the subject, what chainsaw pants do you folks recommend, both for climbers and ground crew.

I've been looking into the the stretch air chainsaw pants from overseas and the sips. What's the difference between re two sips models?

Hope y'all don't mind the hijack, I can start a new one if you want.

The husky pants are relatively inexpensive and comfortable. I have husky and SIPs and the prefer the huskys.

The difference between the SIP 5.1 and 6.1s are the 6.1's have an additional layer of kevlar.

Top, do the husky's feel as thick and heavy as the SIP 6.1?
Is the cut (wear) the same?

Machine wash and hang dry for the SIP's.

Nope, you are not alone.

I have been washing and wearing the same pair for almost a decade. I have several pairs and the old one is just a back-up.

I believe that there was a picture of them in the Treeworker a while ago. They don't look old, but they have been taken care of because they take care of me.

The huskys have a different cut, they are a bit baggy like Khakis, whereas the SIPs are more snug fittin. The huskys are more comfortable due to this. Although they still feel thick and heavy. I think all chainsaw pants do.
