chipper situation?

Actually I just picked up a small dump truck, so once that's squared away as far as parking and what not goes... I'm gonna look into a chipper for the winter months. I've already put the word out locally that I'm looking for a few pieces of equipment. See what that brings in.

I found a model 90xp brush bandit for 2500 it was rough looking, put some new knives in it, new tires, adjusted the cutter bar, replaced a leaf spring and a starter, tuned it up, and it runs like new. still looks rough though. I feel like its one of the best purchases I made. After using my load handler for so long I found an ugly 1 ton dump but its mechanically sound. Its being painted as we speak, I figured the cost of that into the purchase price. The moral of the story is that I don't owe anyone a red cent, and like above stated, I plan to run this set up until the piggy bank fills back up again. The equipment is working for me and not me for it.

I am the same way Roger. I purchased a bc625 last year for $1700 and got a one ton dump truck fairly cheap as well the chipper looks good the dump truck needs paint but everything works alright and has pretty much paid for itself already.
