I have a new job, I pretty much only did tree work as an evening and weekend thing, but new job will prevent that, so rather than let this stuff sit and waste away, I'm selling
TRUCK:
1987 International S1600 Diesel( 6.9L I believe )72,833 miles!! Title in hand, Dump body, with KNUCKLE BOOM material handler! I have to measure again, but I believe it's 14' AWESOME for picking up 8'-12' logs depending on diameter and species. There is a winch built into the boom ( 75', I add on ropes and chains if I need more reach to drag stuff ). Dually rear end. 5 speed split rear end ( 5 high, 5 low, not sure how else to explain it , sorry ) Bed is 12' x 7.5' x 3.5' ( the front few feet has sides that you can add and remove to add another 2' in height, Sorry my tarp is hiding it in the photos ( used to keep chips from blowing all over ) The dump is powerful, never had it not dump logs or chips. Not sure of weight capacity on the knuckle boom, but it's pretty hefty, you'll know if it's too much because it will click if over loaded. The winch is somewhat slow, but not really that bad. Swings a full 360 degrees, but I don't so hoses don't twist. Controls on both sides of truck. Outriggers. FRAME IS ROCK SOLID, Body is VERY good. Block heater. I have a lot of extra parts, including, spare tires, 2 spare new doors, Spare excellent hood, radiator, extra outrigger, Etra rims, Water pump, plus several other thiings I can't even remember. There are 3 underbody tool boxes, 2 of them lock.( The longer one holds my 460 magnum with 25" bar, gallon of oil, 200T, BG%% leaf Blower, Husqvarna55 w/ 18" bar, and a little extra room )ALL THE TIRES ARE 90% or better, drive tires were new at 72,000 miles. THE BAD
: Need to replace directional switch, they work, but have to manually turn them on and off, this just went. The PTO light stopped working ( there are 2 PTO's, one for the dump, one for the knuckle boom ) Theres a leak in the dump line ( small section of hard pipe needs replacing, it still works, but after quite a few dumps you have to add hydro fluid. The right outrigger leaks ( needs packing replaced, but I also have the spare one to swap it out if you wish. Thats all I can honestly think of, trying to be 100% accurate. Nothing on it currently prevents me from using it regularly. Sorry for the ugly tarp, I was in a hurry to get photos. More than happy to take it off and get better photos, or other photos for serious inquiries, just ask. Oh, The truck holds about 11.5 yards if I did math right.( not counting the add on height in the front )
THE CHIPPER:
2003 Woodchuck Hyroller 1200 G, Gas, 14" chipper, auto feed. Starts right up. Not much to say on this. I don't know hours, meter broken. I am currnetly trying to figure out a problem with it, but maybe someone here will know issue. It starts and chips great for about 15 minutes or so, then shuts off, I can disengage clutch, and let rpms come down a little, and it will start right back up, but doesn't run long before it does it again. I am waiting to hear from Vermeer Tech as to possible issue, any help??
Feel free with questions, hopefully pictures will come through. All sold as is, but I am SUPER confident in the truck, the chipper only has the one issue.
I want to keep these together as a set, unless someone wants chipper first, I owe $9,300( payments are $224.month ) I'd be happy to have someone just take it over. As far as the truck, I have been pricing my truck and found everything from $7,500, up to $18,000, I'm looking for $8,500/ offers. I have a lot of extra parts too. Really looking to move quick, will discount bigtime if someone takes as package deal. I would do a package deal of $14,000. If sold seperate, I have to get what I owe on chipper( or take payment ) and open to offers on truck, kind of in a hurry as I won't have much time to show them after next week, but can work something in on a weekend.
