Chinese bastard saws

Ok around here I rarely need a 36' bar but it does happen. Falling stobs and bucking bigger longs. A friend at work bought a huztl 660 clone. I laughed at him thinking it would grenade in first few tanks. It didn't, what it did do was seize he thought. Nope it was the paul's in the recoil snapped and got stuck sideways. I replaced them with oem and off he goes. So I decided to buy one 300$ delivered. First thing I did was replace the paul's and broke it in and adjusted the carb. This damn thing has paid itself off 3 times and still going strong! Not disappointed

They are a mixed bag honestly and if you looked around you could probably finds a good used OEM saw for 3-400. They are a gamble, absolutely. The US dealers that I've seen, 100% disassemble them and put thread sealer on all the fasteners and give them a 5 tank shake down before they let them out the door.
