Chest attachment

Man, that joke recommendation looks solid. I like the D for easy clipping things while I set up systems while aloft, it is more than one direction adjustable (my weaver isn't, and it is always falling off of my shoulders while I work), and it looks freaking bombproof.

I saw a guy at a comp wearing a dog harness with multiple attachment points. Looked just like something edelrid would make. Some have pockets, too!

That rear D ring is probably a good location for a saw lanyard connection, maybe. Might actually keep it out of the way, better. I guess you'd have to try it, and see. I'm pretty sure @JD3000 has about six of these on order....
And not wrapped around stuff dangling off of my saddle?! Dude. Shorter length would mean less snagging while retaining maneuverability, because it only has to reach your hands. I like it. That is clever.

@Burrapeg said: "I bought a PMI double chest roller and its harness, and it works great. Keeps me upright and I can climb with a SAKA and foot ascender more or less hands-free. I run the climbing line through one side of the roller with my ZZ or BDB riding on top of the roller and thus self advancing."

Do you have a picture of this setup?

Here's a link to a video Randy, AKA NHlocal posted to YouTube.

Randy is on the Buzz, I think. I meant to thank him for posting that video, because to the best of my knowledge, this one and another shorter one he did are the only ones that show well how the chest roller works. Little things he does in the video have been very helpful to me. Great guy, very humble.

Yeah, Randy's is almost exactly my own setup, except I have the double roller and I use a BDB or a Zigzag/rope wrench combo. I don't need the second roller very often but it is sometimes useful.
