Brought my crew here and got our passes and all set for tomorrow ! Nice place.... Driven through here many times to Florida but have never actually checked it out! Trade show looks awesome! Gonna blow my budget for sure! Staying at the hilton home 2 suites off Tyvola road. Booked too late so didn't get anything with a pool by the convention Center (kids wanted an indoor pool !)

I'll be there Friday. I'm really looking forward to it.
I just hope I will have enough time to check out everything on my list on the trade floor... With all of the lectures and demos I want to attend!

Rolled in at about 5:30. Ran into the Nat Geo Tree Tech guys in the hotel lobby. Nice bunch of guys. Toy store opens tomorrow. Luke has 15% deal on the web, don't know about the show yet. hope so.

It was a pleasure to meet you Eric. One of the coolest things that happened was meeting the Buzzers I have come to know so well just though pictures and pixels - the famous (notorious, maybe) XMan, David Driver; Reg Coates; Mac Swan; Taylor Hamel; Jerry Beranek; David Stice; Kevin Bingham; Tom Dunlap and others from Facebook groups. And to reconnect with yet others I've come to know through comps and seminars; Eric G (oldoakman); Scotty Olson; Luke from TreeStuff; Nick Bonner... so many. I might have met some of you and not realized who you are on TB.
I'm still going around with one eye, so I assuredly missed people.
I just thought... it really should be me named "Blinky", not Chip. Bugger.

Nick! You got my link to work. Thanks! I put a few other cats onto that Sweetgum for a rec climb. That tree got some good lovin' for sure. I had a fun climb with Kristian in there. I know Ben & Co. hit it up as well. I loved that long sweeper on the North side that arched right down to the ground...so fun!

It was great to meet you, Nora...Chip, too. It's really cool that we can figure out who someone is in person after only experiencing them through a site like TreeBuzz, and then recalling their TB handle. "Oh, wait...Hey, you're Frax, aren't you!"

You're a prolific one, Bonner! I can't imagine how much you'll have time to post with your upcoming "desk job"...
