Cats of Treebuzz…prrrrr

My Patch is a long hair. She likes getting brushed, especially under her chin/neck. Inevitably she gets snarls or hair balls in her fur. They will brush out using the wire curry brush and Firminator. The problem is that the pulling is uncomfortable of course. I don't like hurting her so I fight for a while and stop before she chomps and shreds me.

Tonight I was brushing/fighting her and remembered that I have a glove bag that @Richard Mumford-yoyoman makes for rescue. Tomorrow I'll get it and see how it works.

The question I have is to find out if anyone has ever sedated their cat using OTC products.

My cat is long hair and indoors. In addition to brushing her I also give her a bath. Brush first, then bath. I know a lot of people say cats clean themselves and you don’t have to, but I feel like it also helps with her fur.

And aside from a little talk back when she knows it’s bath time she’s actually very well behaved throughout.
