Cat Rescuers Wanted

Hi Ladies,

You may have seen Dan Kraus's awesome cat rescuing site in another forum, but I just thought if you haven't, you should check this out...

There's a great couple articles on Debbie Dawson who started climbing trees specifically to save cats. Debbie: do you Tree Buzz? I'd love to hear more great cat tales.

Do any of you have cat rescuing stories to share? There are several of Dan's rescues on the site. Great, heart warming stories!

I rescued my 1st cat a few weeks ago named Buddy and she was so happy to see me. She immediately starting purring as soon as I put her on my chest. It was one of the most gratifying experiences I've ever had.

I just joined the cat rescue directory so I'm waiting for my 1st call. So SPREAD THE WORD to all you know about this great service and if you can climb, why hopefully we'll see your name on the directory soon. Just e-mail Dan on the website and he'll get you signed up.

I have had a few cat rescues this year. Not all were pretty but everyone got down safely. I had one cat that peed for probably a minute straight when I went to put it in my bag!!!! Luckily I was high and dry!!! Its been rewarding when the owners are rejoicing to get there cats back.

Congrats on your first! It's cool when they're mellow and purring.

I bagged two cats and a parrot last week, a personal record, going on 20 rescues total. I love doing it. I'm on Dan's site and have flyers up at all the local vets. So far I've gotten two referrals from Dan's site.
