Anyone run one of these? I know the manhandlers aren't ideal, but it's what's in my budget right now and I'm getting enough stumping interest to justify purchasing over constantly renting.

Curious how efficient they are and what the downsides are. The few videos I've seen look respectable enough, but I want to hear some other experiences.

If you're buying used, you might sell it used for the same or more, when you're ready to upgrade.

It will be a workout.

Don't start a stump grinding division with it. ;)

I grind few stumps, thankfully. Sub out or give away big ones, take the small and very hard-access ones. You could probably winch that to places a regular grinder can't go.

I had one, it was the only stump grinder I have any experience with and I always kicked myself for not getting the next size up with the hydraulic sweep or whatever it’s called. That thing was a man eater. Just a work out and it took a long time to grind any stump. The machine itself was well built but from my limited experience in the stump grinding world I’d advise you to get a bigger model.
