I have saws that need carb work, but I don't think I understand much about the carbs. I know what they do functionally, and I know how to tune them. I don't know what I should do to overhaul them.

As some of my saws are right now, they need between $100 - $200 worth of repair work on the carbs. I don't think that is worth the money. I think I should just sell them for $150 each, and buy new ones for $355. But maybe I just need to learn how to repair carbs.

I think I need carb 101. Where do I start?

It's probabley the most simple work you can do to a chainsaw .Every manufacturer of carbs has a web site with tutorials .

Oh
That's music to my ears.
