CAMP Turbofoot ascender

Nice! Although honestly I never got noticeable resistance moving rope through a Pantin. It might make a huge difference though for the first two or three pushes when you're getting off the ground and rope weight is not yet helping the foot ascender self tend slack.

I have my doubts. When I climb I want the chest roller high and cinched down tight on my chest so it keeps me upright. That's easy to do with an H harness and one of the horizontal roller plates that have attachment slots in the side (e.g., PMI or OnRope). In my experience, chest ascenders that have top and bottom attachment holes (like the Croll) can't be cinched down very tight and leave you hanging back farther. I think this very pretty chest roller will have the same issue. That means more arm work and less efficient leg work. So, I will stick with my PMI roller for now.
