Camp Gyro on rope bridge

@SoftBankHawks the amazing Paul Poynter!
haha, thanks Moss, too kind. To be honest, once I bit the bullet on the DMM thingy I haven't looked back. But I also agree with Steve, there is no reason to doubt the CAMP stuff. I like the modular nature of the linkits, being able to choose shackle shape and overall gain is useful. I see some funky ass bridge set ups these days. Seems that climbers try to put as many swivels , rings and whatever else they can find...for who knows what reason...a cluster of weird configuration for no real reason.

I can't imagine going back to climbing on one system now and so the 'helicopter belay' is my base set up. And having the three self aligning thingies (swivels) is a foundation to build new ideas.

Nice set up, looks like you put some spacers on the shackle pin to keep good orientation? I like that you took the rubber grommets out of the two top attachment points, you'd need to carry a tiny rubbing alcohol spray bottle to use on the carabiner every time you clipped in otherwise ;-) I usually manage possible biner rotation at the top of the biner and gate opening down for quick/easy clip, nicely done.

If you give the tight fitting grommets a wet willie on both sides the carabiner will slide in easier, and grab again when dry.

That coud get you DQ'd in a climbing competition if you don't shout "All Clear!" before administering said Wet Willie or "Hawk a Louis" as we always said. It's in the TCC regulations I swear, page 403, Paragraph 1024, subsection D: "Hawking a Louis Shout Call".
