my reply: "that is a beautiful tree. I agree that the stem over the house should be supported, and it might be best to tie the three together with a hub as seen here:http://www.rigguy.com/ 4 hrs for restoration pruning and cabling plus materials, depending on your location."
On this one if the split is not open I would come prepared to go dynamic, since movement will probably strengthen the tree. I don't usually look to cable birches at all because they typically bend not break and have poor codit, but i do not like the lean or the attachment of the trunk over the house.
