butterfly 2 and the velocity

The BF II is a really popular saddle.

If you take some time using the Search feature you'll find lots of discussion about the saddle.

I've never climbed on Velocity but there is plenty of discussion in the archives. I REALLY like Blaze!

BF II sucks!! that was the biggest mistake Komet made!

get the BF1 if you still can.....

Agreed. I got a BF2 and used it 3 hours! BF1 are still available in the UK apparantly though hard to find. I know one company that has them if anyone is interested.

Jelt, when you say attachment point do you mean the front attachment or the gear attachment point(s). Front attachment is ok but I couldn't fit anymore that one peice of kit into the gear loops, no good for a gear junky!

Rupe,
I am interested, is it Severnside because they told me they only had large ones in stock and I think they're too big for my 32"waist.
Also they wanted £135 plus vat for it which is a bit more than I wanted to pay, being a tight git.

Hi Peter, Did you make it to the Arb show? Didn't see you there. I have one brand new BF1 (unused) for sale. I bought it to keep by for the future but I have another newish one for comps and a tree magic for work that I'm starting to like more and more. So don't really need it. 100 plus postage, no vat, if your interested. Or can bring it to cardiff if your going there.

Your right about severnside, one large one only left, I'm a 34" so you definatly need the small.

There is another company who have them though if anyone else is interested but they would be the same price as BF2 I believe.

Nope, didnt make it to the arb show, too busy with work.

What year is the harness? Do they tend to outlive their loler life expectancy? I'm used to willans harnesses that last about a hundred years if kept in the dark!

Starting to like to Treemagic eh? You'll be climbing on Fly next....

Have you tried using a pair of those big red Husky lumberjack braces to keep it up on your hips?

I tried adjusting it a few different ways and got somewhere close to acceptable, except for hanging a big saw off it, then it all goes wrong!

Date on the BF1 harness is 12/04. If used every day I doubt it would out last the 5 year limit! They don't make them like the whillans anymore!

Sorry about sabotaging the thread, seems to be a speciality of mine!
