Last weekend I was talking with a fellow about crossing paths with bees and wasps in trees. My solution has always been to keep at least three cans of high pressure flying insect killer in all of the vehicles. I made a contraption that mounts on a pole saw to extend my reach. The can straps to a shelf on a pole head. Then I made a spring loaded lever that pushes the button when I pull a cord. Keeps the operator away from the nasties.
As we talked, the fellow reminded me about using soapy water to take care of them. His suggestion was a pump up Hudson sprayer. Of course, me being a kid at heart, said that a Super Soaker would deliver more water, further, with higher pressure. Besides, this is another "tool" that I can buy with company money. I love being able to justify buying tools
