buckingham pinnacle

When i use my buckingham pinnacle harness in the split tail configuration it pulls unevenly from the side if i clip the split tail to one d and the termination knot to the other d ring, although it seems to work ok when i clip the two d's together. My question is, is that recommended and are there any bridge modifications i could make to this saddle. Thanks for the input.

Any of the configurations you stated are fine.

Years ago when I climbed in a pinnacle saddle I used a carabiner between to two "D's" I put rope termination on the left and split tail on the right. In this configuration the "in between" carabiner does not have to be life support rated. No fall happens if it fails.
