It does not violate any regulations to lift wood with a material handler while occupied.

I still think it's a dangerous and unnecessary practice though.

Exactly, maybe he should of bought an old boom truck not a bucket. Oh well time will tell, if we read a story in the sun or star we won't have to think any further!

WSPS Regulations are not a shopping list
of things you are aloud to do, they're a list of
Things you can't do. And nowhere in there did they mention anything about not being allowed to lift things with a material handler.

I also looked at ministry of labour and any other regulatory body that had regulations pertaining to aerial lift equipment, and found nothing.

The tower owner would either; a) have a WSIB workwell audit, b) have a random MOL audit or c) an incident investigation - before his operation was evaluated for compliance. Upon such circumstances the Act would be enforced by CSA Standards and Manufacturers Operational Procedures
