bridge on saddle

Banjo, do you have a cougar?

My conversations with Weaver were productive, I basically told them with reports of a 2nd bridge failing (the replacements) that I did not want a 3rd bridge. We came to an understanding ultimately.

[quote)I dont deny that the failures happened I just find it frustrating that the details are shared in a sensible fashion.

Care to share the 'understanding'?

since im a newbie and dont know what the hell im doing, i installed the liger mod on my buck viking. it consists of 2 mini rigging paws and a custom length of 16 strand. much much safer according to most on here. call up luke from treestuff.com and he will hook you up.

thanks for the kind words 223tree. no really, thank you.

back on track. the couger type saddles have an issue with rotation around the hips because of the short bridges on them. with the liger mod you can make a custom length and solve the issue.

What on earth does rotation on the hips have to do with this thread? Absolutely nothing!!!!! You can replace a stock bridge with the warp speed on the cougar with no worries. The issue is in the fibers in the rope being self abrasive.

223,
Hopefully you're making progress and would love to hear what is going or what weavers response was.

i was just adding that the liger mod is better then replacing the bridge on this saddle because it solves 2 things in one go. better bridge, cuts the rotation allot and gives you a lower pair of D's to attach to. good for palms and skinny stems.
