I have been sitting in this saw since just after the 201t came out and saw one on eBay for $1600..00 and it caught my interest. Anyone care to make me an offer in it? It's never seen a drop of gas to date. Brand sparkling new. ...

will you be competing? would be talking turkey on that saw in normal circumstances , three 200's aint quite enough.
 
No offense Mark (maybe a little) but you're sponsored by Stihl and now you're taking advantage of the biggest product downgrade that I've experienced in my career. I purchased my first 020 in 1977. The last three 200's, 201t's and whatever the f*** they're calling them have SUCKED!!!!! Used to be that I carried one saw into the tree, for dismantles before flopping the trunk, where now I've got to take two. Well, until the T540 xp!!! Sorry Mark but now I'm all orange through and through; never find a stihl in my truck again ('cept for the old 200T I got taking up space; it'll run through heavy wood for maybe 15 or 20 minutes then it just sputters out). Not that the 540 is perfect but it runs and runs and runs til I decide when I'm done!
 
201 T/C will run with a 200T any day. Mtronic changed everything. That is a good deal on that saw tho Mark. Prob wont last long
 
I never named a price. Just saw one that sold for $1600. I may just keep it.

Bob, no offense taken. You like what you like.Your 540 must be newer. I have 2 sub climbers work g for me that have 540s. Both are now running 201s because the 540s had carb trouble and one burned through its cover and started leaking bar oil real bad. They are machines and will fail eventually. Your not fooling anyone Bob ;)
