Branch manager attachments

We recently purchased a used mini skid steer, a toro to be exact. Not what I wanted but the boss had his eye set on it. I talked to Dave about a few options before we bought the toro, still all of his options seem better then the one we went with.

Top notch has an amazing selection and Dave did all he could to get us a more than fair price. He talked with me via pms and also through the phone doing all he could to keep our costs low and get us into a machine that would fulfill our needs the best.

Again, unfortunately the boss went another direction, only because of the drive time (20 hour drive didn't seem like much fun but I was game)

Dave did such a great job that I am currently saving up to purchase my first mini skid from him. We did buy a grapple attachment for our dingo. It works amazing and I couldn't be happier.

Big shout out to Dave aka TNT and top notch for a job well done. I just hope to be seeing you soon when I'm purchasing my own boxer mini skid steer (I am not above handouts by the way. Just saying....)

Thanks guys,
Jimmy, Kieth bought almost the whole Branch Manager line.

I owe you another beer or at least a long segway ride

Just wanted to give Dave and his team some props for the great service I got in the past weeks. Picked up my grapple this weeks and I just loaded my mini into my pickup with my new ramps. Sweeeeeetttt!!! After spending half my week on the phone with Bell Canada and my local Vermeer dealer it was nice to talk to someone who knew what they hell they were talking about. Can't wait to try the grapple. Thanks Dave!

Dave rocks! He really hooked me up this year with a great deal. My BMG is the best worker on site every day excluding the Boxer of course. I couldn't ask for better service and it is definitely nice to talk to someone who is a human being.

I was ready for a mini this year. I searched and asked around. Then I called Dave, and the rest is history! I got a brand new boxer 320 (sweet) a grapple, auger, and mulch bucket. Dave helped me the whole way and was very generous with helping me pick it up after the Shade Tree Short course. Don't even bother looking elsewhere, you'll just waste time!

does anyone have problems with hoses getting damaged on the bmg mini grapple? we have gone through quite a few in the last year and a half. they always seem to get rubbed raw from the routing.

We had that issue with the bmg when we were demoing minis, we ended up going with ryans equipment they have much neater hosing on their grapples. Three grapples and 2 minis have been passed around our 5 crews for a few months and we have only replaced one hose

I haven't had the chance to try the ryans grapple yet. just the bmg. I've thought about getting rid of my vermeer for the new sk755 next year. it is a stronger machine and will have two hydraulic outputs. With a second output, I could use a grapple with a hydraulic rotator on it. We do fine operating a grapple without a rotator but the hose routing continues to be an issue on the bmg.

I just noticed the Ryan's grapple doesn't have a bollard on it. thats a big minus for me. We use ours almost daily. Great for in and out jobs (reduces set up time.)

I own the Ryan's grapple, and used to own a BMG. I didn't have any problems with the BMG, just thought I would try something new on the new unit.

The BMG bollard has a WLL of 200 lbs, if I'm not mistaken. To me, that is pretty much useless. Then again, I try to stick with mfrs recs for the equipment they manufacture - I'm pretty sure it could take more, but there is a weak link there somewhere, and it's probably not the bollard but rather something it is connected to on the machine.

I didn't use it enough to miss it, but even if I did, really how much longer does it take to set up a portawrap, like a minute?

Just my .02, I don't think it should be a decision-maker. The Ryan's has the ability to turn, which has made a MARKED improvement in my load times. I know this for a fact, because my switch broke for a while (not a Ryan's problem, it was the switch Ditch Witch installed) and I couldn't believe how much slower I became without the ability to turn a load without stepping off the machine or banging it on the ground to turn it.

So if the bollard is a point for the BMG, the ability to power-rotate is one for Ryan's.
