In 2004 bought a new Vermeer 752 tow behind for $28,000. My stubborn, sometimes cheap personality would watch all my competitors drive by with their new Carlton, brush bandit, Vermeer and other new self propelled backyard machines showing off their new efficiency. So, in two weeks I take ownership of my new Vermeer sc70 stump grinder for $78,000 plus tax. $55,000 more in 18 years. I can’t believe how much it costs to do the work I love. I guess it’s not work if a person loves everyday the work they do. All this machine does is finish the jobs. Anyone looking for a 752 machine by an original owner?

Congrats

A tow behind is not self propellered, I guess in 2004 there was a price difference between the self driven and towbehinds. Anyhow, why sell a well cared Backup machine and provide cheap power to the competition? I guess these few bucks you get for the sale won't change your life.
