Boots and boot care?

Above the rubber wrap All that carbon fiber looking material is leather and the upper and tongue as well. But yes there was not much treating needed. I’m impressed with them for a chainsaw boot

I've found that I can dry two pair of boots on one boot dryer.

The second pair is balanced on top of the first pair sole to sole.

The pair that needs drying the most go directly on the dryer.

Mine must be 25 years old.
 
Socks too. I do merino wool socks year-round even here in the deep south. The best I have found is the Darn Tough T4021 boot sock. The footbed of this sock is like an extra insole pad. Plus guaranteed for life.
I also wear merino wool socks everyday. Dinner one for most of the year and thicker ones for the winter.

I have a couple pair of Darn Tough socks and it's not that it dislike them, they just don't feel as good as my favorites:
