blower question

I need to buy a new blower this week and wanted to get the new stihl 600. My hold up is with the gas mix. I was told it requires a special mix different than my saw 2 cycle mix. I don't like the idea of having another gas can in the truck that someone, someday will eventually mix up with the other one.
Is the different gas mix needed and what do others do to prevent the inevitable gas mix up?

50:1 here too.

HOWEVER in fact, I prefer 40:1. Ethanol in the gas really jacks up these two-stroke motors.

I just replaced a couple jugs on my bigger saws and my mechanic told me that they were blowing because of the ethanol.

Something to keep in mind

You're supposed to use the HP Ultra oil, and at least 89 octane fuel.

half correct, Ultra is preferred, not required. 89 or higher is required though, thatys for Stihl and Husky

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and bought it and boy is it great. I think I can pretty much retire my rakes.
