Im still amazed that Axeman climbs on that rope. Judging by all the picks on the end of it, Im guessing hes a big fan of the polesaw poke.

hello try a taunt line hitch never had that slip. you can go two down one up 3 down 1 up or 3 down 2 up good luck

Someone might have touched on this earlier but diameter of the hitch might have been slightly bigger than the rope seeing as the end of the rope was spliced. It looks like the splice wouldn't have extended as far as the hitch but it is a possibility and that would make the rope stiffer and less likely to grab. You could try with the non-spliced end and see if you still have a problem. As for the rope, I've double crotched with the PI and find that sometimes it's a little hesitant to grip. Hope that helps.

Anyone read the new TCI mag? Check out pg 46... I knew I recognized the photo from here, I just forgot to check back in the threads. Axenot, did they pay you for the photo with a new line?
