Black Widow Saddle

Well, I was contemplating the TreeMotion, and who knows, maybe in the near future I may get one.

I already have the Weaver Cougar, and a TreeFlex that I got at Christmas. Both very good saddles, but I am always looking for something that suits my style of climbing, lots of canopy work, limbwalking and generally just always dynamic

I was looking at the black widow for awhile now, heard that it was designed by Frank Chipps, and being that I AM a fellow Canuck, I called him up and he returned my message, and talked for about 30 minutes on the ins and outs of the saddle, and Frank is a very cool guy.

He said he designed the saddle for exactly what I wrote about above! And since I am a working arborist who is going to be competing in Sept; I ordered one!

It is very well made, lighter than my TreeFlex and does not have the annoying shackles that always clash with my biners on limbwalks!

For a light saddle it is quite supportive and when hanging? puts me in perfect balance.

for those who have said they didn't like them? well they are not made or designed for extended sitting in them, but for my style of climbing they are perfect...and I am thinking on a New tribe for work that involves a lot of hanging around for extended periods of time.

as for me?

my ADHD would barely let me sit long enuff to type this, so it is a good match...lol
