I had taken the pictures from the controls of the crane. Usually I get some shots from the side with the crane, but not this time. That tree would have been a nightmare without the crane. The whole tree leaned over the house. I was even disappointed I didn't take better pitures.

did you guys just do that job cam? I think we bid that job, we were going to rent a crane and I was finally going to get to play with a crane for a couple
days, but some jerks named Lyon and son tree service came in at a much resonable price and shattered my hopes and dreams, now I just make crane hand signals when using my grcs

She did mention your boss's name and said he looked really nervous with the job. It was a one day tree with the stump a couple of hours the next day. I thought I did good with $5K for the job.

I dont think nervous would be the right term but he does shake on the big removals. I dont know why. He doesnt climb them I do! He has to equate the price of a crane into the job, you dont. That's why you got the job. I planned on spending a day or so on the removal but the crane rental kills us everytime. It must be nice having a tree climber as the crane operator. That's got to make things go much quicker and smoother.

Let me know when you buy out dave, I'd be more than happy to work that end of the biz with you and that sweet crane of yours.

ry? Dont get that one. Yeah, we still use russ for crane rentals/ removals but dont get too involved with cranes, not when I can climb and rig most of our trees with our mighty grcs. And besides, you know how the boss gets, even if we had a crane he wouldn't let us use it on most jobs for fear of cracked concrete, kinda like our bucket truck

5k and you were the low bid?

in camerons defence, my boss had it marked between 8-10g, and we had job in hand, until a better price was found, but, after paying for the crane rental and the hourly wage of the crane operator we would have found ourselves makeing the same money, if not less, cause it probably would have taken me an extra half a day, i dont have much crane experience,
