Black Cat Performance

I know this is outta nowhere but j have a question for you. If you do adjustments to, say a Ms 150 or 193T, is there anything to help these saws handle what they can now do?
Example, I have a 192T that I used doing mostly removals, and now the screws that hold the covers for the chain cover and pull cord assembly cover have stripped their holes because of vibrations (my assumption, but I'm one to leave things too loose than over tighten). I believe they are threaded into plastic, that's why it stripped easily and took the next size wider screw I could find and stuff em in.
Now that saw is done for, but are there things you can do to help a saw handle the cutting they now can do to help extend service life
