Ok, I got to ask. What is the advantage of using a mini excavator over a mini skid, or swing loader? I seen pictures/videos of this a few times, and I just don't get it. For straight just sitting there feeding the chipper...seems like a overkill and a lot of equipment to haul. It still doesn't make it a one man operation, unless you jump out all the time to work the safety bar. Mobility wise they are even more pointless (dragging brush, moving things any kind of distance).
 
That was a pretty money shot in the intro man i like that. Some fresh gear ya got there too man. That was some solid riggin' for that fresh riggin' line.

They cant all be tall straight poles, can they bix!
 
Do you tie into the spar with the wrench without an overhead tie in too? It's been cumbersome for me
 
Man, you can tell that rig line was sweat nice and tight when the butts flip higher than the cut upon release, and those X-Rings make a great complement to the GRCS for just that kind of rigging. Nice going, Brian. You are one prolific vid-meister.

Thanks Levi, yep, the crane company does mostly trees and uses that 50 and a 21 ton.

The 2:00 minute mark looked like you almost took an uppercut from that pick . Gotta love those funky hard to balance pieces. Way to Sugar Ray that shit Bix.
