BIG BLACK DOG - NOT

Hi - by now you all might know that i live in the mountains of north georgia.

well - on a drive to check out a climbing tree, we drove through the chattahoochee national forest area, somewhat out in no where land, a big black dog was on the side of the road, being an animal lover i slowed down to see if it was ok

WELL it was OK and not a dog.

check out the pictures and i will post a video on the video thread, there you can hear my excitement.


we pulled over and took the video and some photos, the bear went into the woods and about 2 minutes appeared in front of us about 50 yards and crossed the road into another section of woods, me , my camera was OFF

I use to see dogs turn into bears too,...... but that was in the 70's

Well Jersey up in the ADK area we call those yogis. Cause most of the time when the campers catch up to whats going on they have eaten all the food.
Last year was heading out from the local bar

with the brother in law. We made it half way down the road till we passed with in 5 foot of a black bear . Up there it is not un common to actually have them come right on through ann outting and just mosy on bye.
