Any recommendations to keep the leg/waist straps from coming loose? I don't want it to be a permanent fix due to adjustments needed during the winter months but it would be nice to avoid the time it takes to make these simple adjustments.

I just cinch the straps up each time before I go up.

I sewed velcro strips onto mine.

Leg straps are the easiest to solve, double the strap back through the adjuster buckle. I did the same for the waist belt buckle, had to force it through but was able to double it back through to keep the adjustment stable.

Just adjust them and then tie a simple overhand knot on the strap.

I use suspenders purchased through Sherrills. They work very well and solve the adjustment problems.

Dude! I have the solution. Feed the tail of strap back through the serrated part of the steel adjuster thing-a-ma-jig. Works flawless. Over 4 years on mine, and haven't budged at all.
