BF II Bridge

I bought my butterfly a couple years back and noticed that they changed the bridge style last year. Should I replace the current bridge with the new one even though its in good/safe condition?

I don't own a BFII but if its in "good/safe" condition keep using it then replace it when you feel it is getting to worn

I go with the manufacturers recommendations and replace my BF2 bridge every year. Our lives are worth a $17.00 investment a year.
How do you know it's in "safe" condition?

Do you know the difference between the two bridges? Material, Construction? I would be curious if it is just a update rather than a saftey issue. Norm is right go with what the manufacturers say.

I don't know the difference between material which is why I need to know if replacement is needed. I don't think that it is a recall or anything but its worth making a phone call.

Norm, I guess I don't know for sure without contacting the manufacture if it is safe due to the change but daily inspection has not changed since purchased.
