Better than a loopie?

I got tired of fighting to adjust the length of my loopie while blocking down a spar and thought of this. It's much easier to adjust the length this way. Is that prusik gonna slip?

In my mind I can see it slipping, even seizing. I think Stihlmad had a situation where something like that idea broke. I'm just wondering what sort of fight you have with your loopie??!?! Any videos?
