Best way to move big wood?

dislike your comment as well. life is tough around here son. town infested with heroin....section 8 and crime epidemic. Police just fill out reports. You have to fend for yourself.

This is my thought on the BMG, people that like it can multitask
People that look at it and panic/ don't like it are of non multitasking.

I really think it is a personality thing and the way your brain works.

Call me crazy. Just my opinion

To me it's easier to pick a specific log from a jumble with a BMG than with a bucket grapple.

We use a root grapple on our track loader for clearing land and separating wood from dirt for burning. For doing tree work, a dangle grapple is much better.

I don't have a bucket grapple,,.,,but don't agree with you anyway. Try and get a BMG inbetween 2 logs that aren't even touching. You cannot do ANYTHING to seperate them with a bmg to get the spinning half of the grapple to go down and hook up,,,cept climb off the machine and move wood. I have had em both.

Gonna be honest. I'm feeling like trading in my asv for a gehl 540 after watching that sweet sweet action. I didn't know that an under class a machine could lift like that and not leave lawn marks.

I couldn't ask for a better dealer rep than Carl. I hope to be doing business with him for a long long time.

We have had the 540 for over a year now and I think we have used the mini less than six times in that span. In a six day work week the 540 is coming with 4-5 days a week. The bmg clam shells are invaluable for stump chip clean up.
