Best way to mount on Protos helmet.

I know something more robust will be needed I just hate scuffing up my new Protos.

Did you look-up, or try, the 3M Foam Double Sided Tape ? It comes in difference thicknesses.
You could also stack a couple layers together to accommodate the helmet crown.
It's pretty tough stuff.
It can be removed (not easily). I've removed the labels (mentioned above) a couple times to update / change.

Also the 3M mini-hooks (mentioned above), were recently moved from the front of my Protos, to the side (just in front of the muff position).
This allows the installation, & use, of the face shield. I typically don't have the shield on if I'm not cutting.

The mini-hooks use a version of double-sided foam tape.

have you seen the product Sugru - it promises a incredible bond to so many different surfaces and then is completely removable without percent damage when finished with.
I have tried it for some similar applications and it works really well so far.

I had the EZ-Pass strips at home so I figured I would give them a try first. After I get in some trees and watch it fall to the ground then I will probably change them out for something better. My camera is not a Go Pro so if it breaks while it will suck, it won't be $400 worth of sucks.

There are LOTS of foam double sided tapes.
You could e-mail 3M for help selecting. Check the weight you want to mount.

A couple that I have used:

3M 4032

This is available at Walmart, Staples, etc.

Mine is 1/16” thick, but can be layered to make it thicker.
