Best SRT rope

Josh Galster, I can't imagine why Velocity would not be allowed paired with a wrench in a comp, unless they only have a limited number of ropes approved for SRT comp use at this point. There's nothing dangerous about using the wrench with Velocity. -AJ

Donaghys toured the Yale factory to see the Poison Ivy, they made minor changes. Core strand size and more tension while braiding.

I wonder which years rules they were using?

Thanks Worthaug and Colb. I'll have to check out some of these ropes, including COUGAR. I like the feel of the thin Velocity when using it for DRT, because of how thin it feels, but haven't gotten to know what feels good yet with SRT. Never a bad thing to have extra rope though i guess if i don't have something i like.

Have you used Bailout for the friction rope at all on these ropes, or just Oceans? I like the response of Bailout and how it doesn't collapse and it's very durable if i take a good 'burner' down the rope.

I was told by one of the judges that it was not allowed because it was a thin 11mm, not like any other 11mm. I'm sure it's in the rule book, that judge was very knowledgeable in all the updated rules.

9.3 epicord. Can't say anything bad about it.
