I´ve started studying for the Utility Expert Exam these days and have just finished the booklet about utility pruning. Great stuff, but is this implemented in the utility owners regulations for how the work is to be done? In Norway the engineers makes the rules and they just can´t cope with living organisms like trees. The important thing is the distance between vegetation and conduktors no matter how it is obtained. This of course results in hidious pruning and topped trees!
