I work for Ken's Tree Service based just outside Bellingham Wa. We are looking to hire one or two people. My Boss has tried craigslist but that has only yielded very low quality individuals. We work very hard (imagine yourself spending as much time running as walking) and demand a lot but in return you get a steady 40+ hours a week and generally only work 4 days a week. We are also happy to train motivated individuals to climb and prune to ISA standards and prefer if everyone on the crew has some climbing experience.
We spend probably 30-40% of our time pruning and the rest on take downs. We undertake technical and high risk take downs that other companies turn down. We are also one of a few companies in the area who specializes in spurless pruning. Like I said we work very hard but try to take a work smarter not harder approach whenever possible.
Prior chainsaw, tree climbing, rock climbing, or technical mountaineering experience a big plus. Drivers Licence required.
