My Mom just sent me this link. She knows how big a fan I am of slab furniture and pieces that use natural edges. There are many ideas that would be easy to make.

Hi Tom, it looks like he has some nice wood products there and is especially fond of spalted maple. Some of the best figured wood comes from the lowest grade logs. It looks like the site is under construction so I didn't get to see many pictures.

He made his first piece in 2003. I didn't like the pop up pics and they were small in size hard to get any detail.
