BD Saddle Recall

A number of Black Diamond saddles have been recalled. I checked my whiz kid and it's ok.

For what it's worth you can't re-thread the buckle yourself because of the triple layer fabric.

Nope, the only useful thing about them for climbing trees is the "Whizkid" saddle which is a pretty good rec saddle for kids in the 5-6 year old range. That is kids who are too small to use the New Tribe kids saddle but are big enough to hold themselves upright on the rope. I picked one up after I saw ChuckR's photos and have used it successfully for some small kid climbs.

Thanks for posting that, i have a momentum i use for some rather large indoor rock walls around in illinois. Much appreciated.
