Bagster Anyone?

Has anyone seen these Bagsters? They are dumpsters, but a bag rated for 3,300lbs. The bags only cost around $30 dollars.

I thought we could use some of those in our industry. I can think of many uses.

I'm wondering if any of the stick boom, K-boom crane, or grapple truck owners would consider doing Bagster pick ups for side jobs. Waste Management is charging $89/ bag pick up. Not bad. Each bag is 3 cubic yards. In theory, a 30 yard truck could haul 10.

Heck, if the grapple truck isn't pick up logs...would it be worth the time to pick up bags to later dump them?

It may be one more thing in the winter for work...

Yeah or neah?

I've thought about using them for cleanup in tough access yards. As far as the hauling end of it goes, I think the potential to make money has a lot more to do with waste disposal costs in your area than anything else. I'd look into how much it would be to dump yard waste, const. waste, or a mix of stuff.

Oh yeah, if you are thinking about doing it, you should find out whether or not Bagster charges you a set fee per pickup or if its based on weight. My Dad, who has a small boomtruck company and a history in waste disposal, has been thinking about getting into something like that. That's how I know a little bit about it. I'll pick his brain for you, just ask away. Either way, if you're gonna buy a k-boom you should at least get a couple bags for cleanup!
