Backyard Locust

I was trying to point out that you could have had the same rigging choice, but simply made a face cut and it likely would have worked out. It was strange to me that you hinged a few pieces in the canopy to clear neigbouring limbs/trees but straight cut a limb over a house

Good point just thought that it was going to work out better, but like I said no damage, it came down slow and we lifted it off. Learning everyday. Also there was only 4 wraps to lift when there should have been 5. She was slipping.

hey ricky. the lack of any face cut what so ever is completely hack-tacular.

and how often do you use your hand saw or pole saw to pull your rigging line to you? that lowering line looked beat.

wasn't your worst video though, you getting closer.

how long those 32$ gloves from petzl last you? i couldn't get more than a couple weeks before they quit. tried twice.

Those were PBR glove's from Canadian Tire. $8.00 on sale bought close to 50 pairs. Couple of weeks is good for gloves here especially the amount of climbing I do. Rope is getting retired soon, it's like a old dog, just can't seem to put her down.

Nice job on the rip cuts... gorgeous with the GRCS... and pretty enough without... why do they have such a bad rep? Fast, easy, and effective in such cityations... and ya.. the lines could have been set out a bit furter... nothing wrong with branch tips brushin the roof either... as long as its all in the script..

Always enjoyed a good RIP! Just an option for me and enjoy taking advantage of mature nature. It's in lower case cuz the bitch has deep issues with me, or what that karma, notice the lower case.
