Back on the Buzz after a long hiatus

I finally pulled the trigger tonight and signed back up on TreeBuzz, after 9 years gone-what a great change. I love this industry and almost lost my ability to work in it, not to mention my nearly shortening my duration on this world, as a result of a struck by in 2009.

I worked at it and got back into the industry, sans my right arm. I really hope the quality of people on TreeBuzz hasn't changed over the years-because my old acquaintances have been so warm and welcoming as we run into each other. I'm very much excited about the NE ISA TCC in May, and reconnecting with some of my old friends here as well. I owe a whole bunch to the fine people who love working with trees from pulling me back from a pretty dark time, thank you,

Be Safe and I will be seeing you here in the Utililty Arborist Forum.

GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK!!! You have been missed. I was actually talking about you with a guy from D and E tree service yesterday. His name is Joe and he was a climber and crane operator for them. He said he really enjoyed talking and watching you work. Said he learned a lot from you. Good to hear your back at it.

Royce, you're on my list to contact, I'm working as an advisor on a project with a group of students at Keene State College, an EAB Economic Vulnerability study that I'd like your help on. Will you be at the NE ISA TCC? I'll get an avatar up, I have something cooking. I like the new look Tom.

Keith we need to connect. I am on the conservation commission in my town and we have worked with Brattleboro some to develop a management plan for the threat of EAB. I am in the process of doing my own traps on some land around town. ( girdling to kill ash trees, and seeing if that attracts any EAB.) The town I live in has every major transporter of EAB historically. (two campground, major highway I-91, major river, and the train runs through daily) I am planning to make the trip to the TCC. I will see you there and we can talk. Looking forward to it.

Welcome back! I wasn't around when you left. I'm interested in your project. Here in NJ we've just seen the beginning of the infestation and are doing our utmost to educate clients and communities. Many towns are just taking the approach that they'll just remove them as they die. They cry poor and don't seem to grasp the real economics of what's coming.

Welcome back Keith. I remember the dark period very well. A lot has changed here on the Buzz. I don't get a chance to post as much as before, but still check in now and than. Have you heard from Dan at all?

Please feel free to contact me if you want. I will try to be at the NE TCC this year.
