hi,
first post nowt to do with trees.
how do you get the photo avatar on? i re sized to just under 200

by 250 and it still wont work1

I cropped and rescaled the pic...look at this attachment.

When I opened your copy it was much larger than 200x250. Let
me know if you want me to uncrop or recrop your avatar.

Once you have it scaled the way that you want it you should be able to upload the avie. Occasionally people can't do that. If you can't the work around isn't difficult. Use it as an attachement to a post on this thread. Then, open the thread and attachment. Copy/paste the URL of the attachment into your Homepage here on TB and you should be good to go.

i still cant get it to work tho, it tells me im using a improper picture type.

what was that you mention about a homepage?

im new to this new fangeled electronic typewriter stuff

The test attachment worked for me. Now you should be able to link to that URL.

Is that the pic that you wanted?

If you go up to the top of the page in the bar you'll see a link to "My Home"

You might need to save the pics as jpg instead of jpeg.

Tiger body crop...you'll have to resize it

Tiger diamond crop...I don't know if this will work...resize to fit.

Its 285 x 285, so it won't do as it is. Being a diamond image, it should, the remaining corners are white space.
