Austria Duo saddle

anybody have the austria duo saddle, Ive been climbing on it for a year now, and I really like it, light weight legs are pretty good, nice back support ect. however I just got the harness for it, it looks nice but it is dangest thing to adjust, does anyone use the austria and does anyone know how to adjust it so you dont have to cinch it down to the loops on the front.

Thanks in advance adam

what do you like about the duo? how does it compare to other saddles you've used. and where the heck did you find one a year ago..? i've yet to see one for sale.
thanks,
k.

hey mahk,
i think i'm going to go with the t2s. as for the old cadillacs, i think i'll just suffer through - it's not that bad unless i put em on in a hurry, and i rarely spend the entire day in spikes these days as i can't underbid the big removals around here. too many cranes or something..

thanks for the tip about fresco. for some reason i thought it wasn't avail. here. maybe that's the edelrid tree magic - the other shiny new saddle i covet /forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif

ive got one that ive been in for about 6 months. i like it a lot more than the master2 i gave up. It took a while to get back into the floating d, but Im glad I made the switch back.

Since then, Ive sold about 4-5 of them. As soon as I get my website back up, youll find them there too.

I've been using a austria duo for three years and i love it. I don't want to klinb with other saddles anymore. I live in holland so we know the saddle a while now, there is even a second version on the market here. didn't check it out jet, but i think its more adjustable. Maybe your supplier can get it from germany.
I would give it a try if I was you.

we are still waiting on the TA2. Seems theres production problems. They (TA people) said it would be out for TCI in Oct. but all that showed up was a demo model.

I talked to the US distributor today and he still cant get them. Though he doesnt like the new version compared to the old.

Is this the same guy who has the job of quickly selling the old models before the new ones are available? /forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Nick, as the importer for the TA saddle, I really do like the original style. The new version is still being tweaked but in the meantime I had them build a bunch of the originals which are currently on their way. Be good.
