Ash removal with mini-knuckleboom.

Here is this mornings job. The fence only had one entrance and it was on the other side of the yard. The knuckleboom came in very handy for this removal.

The knuckleboom is a IMT model #8031. It is rated at 11 ton with a reach of 36'7". This truck was are bucket truck. My employer purchased this truck about 5 years ago, it was converted about a year a go. Zac, me and Justin (the guy with the hat) was talking about that yesterday. His face shield had a piece missing. The new face shield was just ordered and on it's way. What would be the issue for wearing a hat under a hardhat?

Looks like you all have a real smooth operation running there. I like the size of that knuckleboom. Not too small.

All you need is a Bandit chipper and you'd be set!

Oh no! Whats that supposed to mean? You like the Vermeer better? Well there are two sides to every story. We've got a Vermeer 1230 that sits in the shop alot since we got the Bandit 1590. "Oh its very nice!"

No, I didn't mean it like that. i was just messin with you. The Bandit is to small for what we do. I am not sure why he decided on the Vermeer we have now. He has also owned a Morbark. I bet that 1590 is sweet.

Hey WoodlandTC, nice job! It seems like there's always that one obstacle (the fence in this case) that can make an easy rmv a p.i.a. I'll bet it felt good to watch those pieces fly over the fence!

We have a Hiab 080 on a Mack dump truck and we like it a lot. It will lift 11,000 shortened up and 1500 at full extension (35feet). Like to have Mike Poor's rig but you know........
