Your reading too much into my post and I used a term improperly. Of course we never want to fall at any factor!
What I should have done is just left it at positioning where a slip might mean a small swing.
I specifically asked Herbert at ART about single line use of the positioner. He said it was not designed as primary life support ever, but had no problem with it properly cinched (no side load on biener) as a second attachement for positioning. Although he suggested just using a longer lanyard.
